Read more about AanTafelThuis

AanTafelThuis was founded by South African Estelle Steyn. Estelle’s fascination with home decoration was sparked by her mother, who introduced her to the magic of sitting around a pretty table and enjoying food and conversation with family. These special, everyday dinners are still the dearest and happiest memories for Estelle.

In 2020 Estelle and her family moved to the Netherlands to start a new adventure. As a working mother of two toddlers, she was struggling to find time to create some dinner magic. Due to the craziness of work, kids and time flying by as quick as you can say: “What’s for dinner?”, easy-to-use decorations were needed to make an inviting table for home dining – table decor that excites and helps to find joy and inspiration in the mundane.

This is why Estelle founded AanTafelThuis, home decoration to create moments to enjoy. The first products are specially designed paper placemats: inviting, pretty and easy to use. It will make your table look more appealing in a pinch.

We wish you a lot of moments to enjoy together and, of course, bon appétit!

On AfriForum Worldwide’s World Guide you not only become part of a business network, it is also a valuable way of building a support network for those days when the longing becomes too much and everyone just seems too far away.
