Business in the Spotlight: Celebration Box

Feb 26, 2020

Worldwide’s unique World Guide is as truly South African as milk tart and pannekoek at a church bazaar. Here we bring overseas South African enterprises together under one roof, making it easy for expats to get hold of their favourite products and services wherever they may be. There are South African shops, butcheries specialising in biltong and boerewors, South African doctors, lawyers and accountants, Afrikaans church services and much more. Every week, Worldwide selects one of these enterprises on the guide to appear in Spotlight. This week the spotlight falls on Celebration Box in New Zealand.

Celebration Box began when two best friends got together to find an alternative for boring presents – you know, socks, handkerchiefs and bath sets – in New Zealand. And at the same time they wanted to eat as much donuts as possible, naturally.

So the idea of Celebration Box came into being – the perfect excuse to eat donuts and never ever having to send someone a boring gift. Celebration Box has a box for every occasion. Graduation? Absolutely. In the dog box? They have an apology box that comes with a “SORRY” button! Forgot Dad’s birthday? Celebration Box has the perfect box for Dad – with a little bottle of whiskey included. Or maybe you want something to spoil yourself with, why not?

Become a part of the Celebration Box family and join the donut revolution, because you cant eat flowers…
