Dear Friends

Thank you very much for your willingness to help bring the issue of farm murders and the South African government’s unwillingness to prioritise this kind of crime to the attention of opinion makers abroad.

The memorandum for their attention is attached.

You may hand it to a representative at the South African Embassy closest to you. If you live too far from a South African Embassy, you may hand it or send it to a media institution and/or government representative of the country where you live – someone like a member of parliament, a councillor, senator or governor.

A summary of the crisis is provided, as well as a request for support and contact details in case they would like more information about farm attacks in South Africa. We are always willing to provide thoroughly researched and verifiable information.

We will appreciate it if you can let us know to whom you have sent the information and where you live. If you are willing, also send us a picture of the presentation of the memorandum.

We sincerely appreciate your support and thank you on behalf of the farming community of South Africa.
