“Manne wat Glo” to tour Australia and New Zealand again in March 2016!

Feb 4, 2016

Last year four of the best Afrikaans Christian singers joined forces to tour Down Under with the production ‘Manne wat Glo’ (‘Men who Believe’). Jan de Wet, Leon Ferreira, Willie Joubert and Dewald Gouws are established solo artists in South Africa and when they joined forces to produce ‘Manne wat Glo’ (‘Men who Believe’), they produced the best Afrikaans Christian album and production ever! They enjoyed tremendous success during their tour in 2015 and are now ready to proclaim the Gospel with the sequel ‘Manne wat Glo 2’ (‘Men who Believe 2’)

They are visiting Australia and New Zealand in March 2016 by invitation from ‘Musiek Fabriek’ (The Entertainment Factory Pty Ltd)) and will be launching a brand new album and production of colourful harmonies and energetic rhythm, alternating with acoustic sounds and A Capella singing.

15 songs on the new album are carefully selected to showcase the unique talent of each member of the group whilst enjoying the combination of four of the best Gospel singers in South Africa.

The central theme of ‘Faith, Hope and Love’ is apparent through-out the album. Each of the songs is a new creation except the last song, which is a powerful organ and symphony rendition of the old favourite ‘Lofsing die Here’ (‘Praise the Lord’).  This final song concludes the proclamation of the Gospel in a wonderful arrangement of word and melody. This album is essential to complete your Gospel music collection and CD’s will be on sale at each of the concerts.

This international concert tour is one of the biggest ever by South African artists. They are touring 2 continents and 9 states and are performing in 14 concerts over 19 days in 5 time zones!

“The theme of the tour is ‘Geboorteland na Beloofde Land’ (‘Country of birth to the Promised Land’) and I pray that everyone who attends this production will be motivated to find their special role to fulfill in Australia and New Zealand in the greater scheme of God’s plan,” says Hennie Botha, owner of ‘Musiek Fabriek’ and promoter of this event.

“We suggest that tickets are booked well in advance to avoid disappointment as this family friendly concert is of a very high standard and we expect tickets to sell like hot cakes,” says Hennie. Jan de Wet is doing his well known program for toddlers ‘Jan en die Lofkleuters’ (‘Jan and the Worshipping Toddlers’) as a supporting act.

This production demonstrates that the group is not only an asset to the South African music scene, but also of significant value to the international Christian music genre. This production is highly recommended to all lovers of Afrikaans Christian Music as each of these men has great singing voices and is talented songwriters.
