Nature’s Corner – Monkey Business

Jun 24, 2021

Vervet monkeys (Chlorocebus pygerythrus) spend time at the N’wamanzi Lookout, with its stunning view across the Olifants River in the Kruger National Park. With them in the vicinity, it is always advisable to keep your vehicle’s windows closed. They will seize the slightest opportunity to pinch anything they can lay their hands on.

The footage has once again been provided by Katie and André of Two-V Productions. We thank them for their great videos. Please subscribe to their YouTube channel and follow their Facebook page [https://web.facebook.com/OpVlerke]. Books in their Op Vlerke series can be ordered from Kraal Uitgewers [https://www.kraaluitgewers.co.za]. The books, which are only available in Afrikaans, can also be found at shops in rest camps of the Kruger National Park.
