The Van Wyk-family shares their emigration experiences with Worldwide

Aug 8, 2018

Worldwide recently had the honour of spending some time with the hospitable Van Wyk family at a South African shop in Brisbane, Australia. While we feasted on koeksisters and Creme Soda, Henro and Lize shared the benefits and drawbacks of emigrating, including the challenges when raising Afrikaans children in Australia. Little Heine and Hailey also told us how hugs over Skype will never be as nice as to physically hug their grandmother and grandfather in South Africa. Watch the video for the full interview.
