LAPA Publishers is proud to announce that Jaco Jacobs has just been signed by Rizzoli, a large Italian publisher. Rizzoli is also publishes John Green (The Fault in Our Stars), Cressida Cowell (How to Train Your Dragon) and Michael Morpurgo (War Horse).
The book, that Rizzoli has bought in a two-way bid, is called ’n Goeie dag vir boomklim. It is available in English from the London-based Oneworld Publications as A Good Day for Climbing Trees.
In 2016 the book won the film category of the kykNET/Rapport Prize and the movie rights have already been sold.
