Afrikaans is Lekker concert exceeds all expectations in Australia and New Zealand

Jun 28, 2018

Afrikaans is Lekker is an annual South African concert that is held in Australia and New Zealand. South African Events hosted the South African gathering. This year artists such as Theuns Jordaan, Nianell, Refenste, Dowwe Dolla, Jacques du Plessis and Snotknop entertained South Africans abroad.

“It is important to us to enable South Africans to come together informally abroad so that they can still celebrate their South Africanship,” said Sue-Ann de Wet, Project Coordinator for the South African Diaspora.

The 2018 tour concluded in Melbourne this weekend. There were also performances in Brisbane, Perth, Sydney, Wellington and Auckland.
