Business in the Spotlight: Olive & Light

Oct 12, 2022

This week’s business in the Spotlight is Olive & Light in Australia.

Olive & Light is listed for free in Worldwide’s World guide. This guide allows you to support South African businesses abroad.

Hello, and welcome to Olive & Light!

I am delighted that you are here and would like to take the opportunity to tell you a little bit more about me and Olive & Light.

The Lord placed a desire in my heart to create and share beautiful pieces that will bring joy and love to everyone who wears it.

Olive & Light was born due to this desire and a passion for creating and for the love of pearls.

The meaning behind the brand name Olive & Light: God placed the word “olive” heavily on my heart when I started thinking of names. We have two enormous olive trees in front of our home. Before Olive & Light saw the light, our home would always be filled with olive branches, and whenever I gifted someone special something I would add a little green olive branch. I was naturally drawn to it and just knew that it should be in some way part of the name.

An olive tree has such significance in what it symbolises. “Light” symbolise God, faith and holiness. In John 8:12, Jesus said: ”I am the light of the world. Whoever follow me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life.”

I design and create these pieces in my studio in Sydney, Australia. Each piece is specially and thoughtfully crafted from high-quality materials, which ensures your handmade jewellery is created with natural elegance, while showcasing the precious pearls.

I hope that my creations inspire you and help you realise that you are loved, valuable and beautifully-uniquely made by our loving God.

My heart is overflowing with so much joy to bring it all to you, and I sincerely hope that you love your pearls as much as I love creating them.

A very special thanks to my loving husband: You are the one who inspires me, believes in me and strengthens me. I am grateful and thankful that I am blessed with you as my husband. I love and adore you more than words can explain.

With much love, Celestte
