Egyptian geese are fairly common all over Africa and feral populations have even been established in Europe, Great Britain, the USA and New Zealand. Especially during the breeding season, they may become quite vicious, which does not endear them to the patrons of golf courses. They eat seeds, leaves, grasses, plant stems, insects and aquatic invertebrates as can be seen here. Females are apparently more noisy than males … no comment. They pair for life and both birds take turns to incubate their eggs.
