Budget 2018: Highlights and implications

On Wednesday 21 February Malusi Gigaba, Minister of Finance, put South Africa’s National Budget for 2018/2019 to table in Parliament.

PSG have prepared a summary of key Budget provisions and highlights, as well as an infographic, which you can download using the links below:

Aspects that can be of particular use to South Africans abroad, are:

  • Estate duties;
  • Taxation of foreign salaries; and
  • Emigration among retirement funds.
